We run a Youth Entrepreneurship programme aiming at school-level students wishing to familiarise with innovative venture creation and impact-driven entrepreneurship. Open to students across the country, with an innovative idea and an interest in entrepreneurship, the selected junior entrepreneurs participate in experience-based instructional workshops for business and skills development, delivered by successful startup founders or experienced executives from leading corporations. The Youth Entrepreneurship programme is built on the concept of educating through entrepreneurship, not simply for and about entrepreneurship.

During this intensive programme, students work on their entrepreneurial idea, in a learning-by-doing environment that enables them to understand the challenges and fascinating experience of building an innovative business, while being inspired by positive business role models.

The programme includes a series of workshops on basic business fundamentals and startup methodologies approaches, from business model canvas to budgeting and marketing that the students are invited to implement in their business proposition. Through the course, they are also trained on how to become entrepreneurial as a state-of-mind, i.e. personal development, creativity, value-creation, action orientation and so on. During these highly interactive workshops, the participants are offered the opportunity to discuss and receive feedback by Orange Grove international and local trainers, successful entrepreneurs and corporate executives from around the world.

The programme leads to the “Squeezy” pitching competition, where the young students present their innovative business ideas to a select audience. Prizes from previous competitions include training trips to the Netherlands, custom follow up mentorship by acclaimed professionals and vouchers for technological equipment.

The Youth Entrepreneurship programme is co-organized with the Embassy of the Netherlands in Greece.
