Diversity is the driver of innovation and the catalyst of new ideas. More importantly, it is the core value of our very existence as humans, as a society. We strive to create an inclusive environment for everyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, national origin, gender identity and expression, sex, skin colour, age, sexual orientation, religion, culture, social and economic class, educational level, family status, mental and physical ability or political belief. Our employees, programme participants, trainers and mentors must practice the same values.
Equality is a goal that indisputably needs to be achieved, for everyone, everywhere, starting from our own homes and working environment. But are equal opportunities enough? People start from different places, with different resources, hence true inclusion and belonging require equitable action -providing individuals with the resources and opportunities they need to reach an equal outcome. So, give equity a huge embrace and let’s all work together towards solutions that forge a truly inclusive society globally, for all humans.
We respect and value different opinions, ideas and approaches. Disagreement is no excuse for disrespectful behaviour. The plurality of voices is what takes the conversation forward in order to tackle challenges, become better and grow. We may not necessarily agree but all members must keep an open mind and engage in true dialogue. Provided, such opinions, ideas and approaches fall within the boundaries of law; show respect towards accepted principles of morality, fundamental human rights and the public interest; and are expressed in a courteous manner.
We encourage all our members to be conscious of cultural differences and assumptions. Race, gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, beliefs, we are all different but essentially the same. We may unconsciously or unknowingly be disrespectful to someone or be treated disrespectfully ourselves. We invite everyone to be mindful of such incidences and encourage an open conversation to overcome any misstep.
Commitment of or involvement in any act of harassment, discrimination, intimidation or other inappropriate behaviour against another individual cannot be tolerated. We strive to create a hostile-free, open and welcoming environment for all. Be kind to others. Bad behaviour simply has no place in this environment.
We want to help create successful businesses. But our priority is to grow better founders. This means that an ethical approach to doing business is set above all. Our trainings and mentoring need to reflect this approach.
Building a venture is good. Building an impact-driven innovative venture is better. Building an impact-driven innovation ecosystem is even better. We want to help founders create impactful companies. Value creation is at the centre of everything we do, be it a fast-growing scalable company or a social enterprise that will change lives. We believe that innovative entrepreneurship can be the catalyst of the positive change we need.
Life is easier when you have fun. We are serious about our work but equally serious about having happy people and positive vibes around us.
